Sometimes Life is as bitter as angels’ tears. But whether  those tears be bitter or sweet depends wholly on he who tastes them. *** These winged beauties were the second series I released for print. Rather simplistic by design, I chose pencil to show the beautiful tension and musculature in these subjects. The deep shadows, stark background, and pale flesh give these creatures the statuesque appearance of softly hewn stone.
